Food Trucks have returned to campus thanks to the Department of Auxiliary Services and the Center for Student Involvement.
Events will be held every Friday on Academic Walk from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 27. Returning favorites include Nakama, Pgh Crepes, Foxy Frans Caribbean Food and PGHEatz, with new vendors Kilimanjaro African Food Truck and Nature Roll.
This fall’s tentative Food Truck Fridays schedule:
- Sept. 22: Kona Ice, Auntie Annes Pretzels, Foxy Franz and Tocayo
- Oct. 6: Steel City Chimneys, Auntie Anne Pretzels, Pgh Crepes, & Nakama
- Oct. 13: Sinkers & Suds, Cilantro & Ajo, Foxy Franz and Forlini’s Italian Foods
- Oct. 20: Nature Roll, Southside BBQ, Pgh Pierog, and Cool Beans Taco
- Oct. 27: Cool Beans Tacos, Forlini’s, Hoshi and Pgh Eatz.
In addition, Universisty departments and student organizations are interested in highlighting or promoting their services and activities as part of Food Truck Fridays are asked to email Ashley Kane at the Center for Student Involvement.
